Chakali Ilamma was a courageous and revolutionary leader who fought against feudal oppression to protect her land and dignity. She played a significant role in the historic “land for the tiller” movement in Telangana from 1940 to 1947, which aimed to secure land rights for farmers and agricultural workers.
