Legal Cell

The Legal Cell of the University functions as the central body for handling all legal matters pertaining to the institution. It safeguards the legal interests of the University by coordinating court cases, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with statutory provisions.

The Cell coordinate with cases before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies including the High Court, Civil and Criminal Courts, and other statutory authorities. It works in coordination with University officials and Standing Counsels to ensure timely filing of affidavits, petitions, and compliance with court orders.

The Legal Cell also monitors RTI matters and prepares periodic reports to ensure transparency and adherence to the RTI Act, 2005.
