Admission Process & Guidelines

Admissions to all programmes of Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University are conducted in a transparent and merit-based manner, strictly in accordance with the rules and guidelines prescribed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) and the Government of Telangana.

Undergraduate (UG) Admissions

Admissions to Undergraduate programmes are made through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST).

Process

1. Candidates must register online on the DOST portal within the notified schedule.
2. Applicants shall fill in personal, academic, and category details and upload the required certificates.
3. Web options (college and programme preferences) must be exercised during the stipulated period.
4. Seat allotment is carried out based on merit, eligibility, reservation norms, and availability of seats by DOST.
5. Allotted candidates must complete online self-reporting and fee payment within the prescribed time.
6. Candidates shall report to the University/College with original certificates for final verification and confirmation of admission.

Postgraduate (PG) Admissions

Admissions to Postgraduate programmes are conducted through Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (TG-CPGET).

Process

1. Candidates must qualify in the TG-CPGET examination as per eligibility criteria.
2. Qualified candidates shall register for online counselling and certificate verification.
3. Applicants must exercise web options for preferred programmes.
4. Seat allotment is done based on entrance test rank, eligibility, reservation rules, and seat availability by TG-CPGET.
5. Selected candidates are required to report to the University/Department with original documents and complete admission formalities.

Documents Required while self-reporting

• SSC / Class X Certificate (Date of Birth proof)
• Intermediate / Degree Marks Memos and Pass Certificates (as applicable)
• Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Study / Bonafide Certificates
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Income / EWS Certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhar Card
• Passport size photographs
• Any other documents specified in the admission notification

Fee Payment

• Admission and tuition fees must be paid within the notified dates through the prescribed online/offline mode.
• Fee structure is subject to revision as per University and Government norms.
• Reimbursement of Tuition Fee(RTF) and scholarship facilities are available for eligible students as per Telangana Government rules.

Cancellation & Withdrawal

• Admission cancellation and fee refund shall be governed by the University’s Fee Refund Policy and TGCHE guidelines.
• Requests for withdrawal of admissionmust be within the stipulated time period.

Important Instructions

• Mere submission of an application does not guarantee admission.
• Admission is provisional until all original certificates are verified.
• Candidates are advised to regularly visit the University website and admission portals for updates.
• Any false information or suppression of facts may lead to cancellation of admission.
