Internal Complaints Committee

As per the Sexual Harassment of Women at work place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act-2013, it is mandatory to have Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at work place and educational insitutions. In alignment with the Act, VCIWU has formed ICC. The University Internal Complaints Committee is responsible for preventing, prohibiting, and redressing complaints of sexual harassment in accordance with statutory guidelines. It ensures a safe, inclusive and respectful work and learning environment for all employees and students. The ICC conducts awareness programs, sensitization workshops, and outreach activities to promote gender equality. It receives complaints, conducts fair and confidential inquiries, and recommends appropriate action within stipulated timelines. The Committee also provides support to aggrieved persons and submits annual reports to the university authorities as mandated by law.
